One of our favorite things to do together is go to Disneyland and eat. We have passes so we’re able to go any time we want, which allows us to be able to relax and not rush around the parks. It’s so much less stressful when you go just to enjoy walking around, eating, and going on a few rides. Usually we don’t eat at the restaurants (we don’t have enough money for that, but one day!), but we go for snack food instead.
Some of our favorite snacks include their chimicangas: easy to eat and filling (but I wish the hot sauce they have was actually hot…). It’s definitely one of those on the go snacks if you’re anxious to get into as many lines as you can. I’ve only found them at two places in the two parks. One at California Adventure in the Paradise Pier area across from the Merry-Go-Round. And one in Disneyland across from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. You can also find their famous turkey legs at these stands!
California Adventure recently reopened the entrance with Buena Vista street which has many new eateries and shops. I love how it looks now (it has an old town Hollywood feeling). We decided to get a sundae at Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream and it was delicious. We got a strawberry sundae which came with a strawberry glazed topping with fruit bits, a crunchy waffle cone, and the usual in a sundae. Great dessert to keep us going!
(sorry for the bad picture)
