After One Fourth of Gas…

This is my first post, and what the title says says it all. The days before this day, Mallory and I planned to go L.A. to visit the Getty Museum. We planned to wake up at 10 am the following day, but instead we woke up at 12 pm. Things weren’t going the way we wanted but we decided to go to L.A. anyways. We went into the car, and yelped the Getty museum and began following our “smart” phone’s directions. After an hour of driving we ended up in a small suburban town. Our phone misdirected us! At this time it was around 2:30pm and the museum closes at 5pm. We decided to try again and hopefully our phone would found the way this time. We drove for about another 40 minutes just to found ourselves on top of a hill in the middle of nowhere, somewhere in Pacific Palisades. Our phone misdirected us again! Mallory and I were disappointed and like all couples we were frustrated, and maybe frustrated with each other. After one fourth of a gas into our trip, I decided that we should get something out of this, and that we were going to make it out of this weird day happy. I decided to take pictures, pictures of the highway, the bright blue sky, the environment around us.

I swear I saw a cloud that looks like a jellyfish/moustache

This trip wasn’t a waste of a day. I learned that even though things doesn’t quite seem to go our way, we found out that we were going to be there for each other :) … to top it off we ended up going to one of Mallory’s recently discovery of this Chinese place called Chong Qing Mei Wei. It was delicious, hearty, and spicy.

Spicy! Beef and Tofu and other Random MEAT!

We ended the day in each others arms watching Once a Upon a Time… a kick ass TV show.
